Hotel Gardenia Tamarindo

The room was clean and the drive to get there was tricky.

Had really nice time there.

We stayed in a nicely decorated and modern room with bedroom, a single bed, as example. The setting was perfect, just next door to the grocery store, the Tamarindo Night Market and good restaurants. Also, such main attraction as St Paul's by the Sea was 2 km from this hotel...

Had such a chill time at Gardenia! The Beautiful Queen Studio was spacious and clean. The pool was a perfect spot to unwind. A few bumps getting up the road, but totally worth it for the cozy vibe and great location near the beach and restaurants!

We had a tastefully decorated and brand-new room with basic kitchen and everything was nice.

It was very good 14 days, would have extended the stay. The staff were very kind and amiable, no complaints. Nice location for visiting restaurants and bars close enough to the hotel. Even the Tamarindo airport was not so far, 10 minutes drive away...

I appreciated the spacious Beautiful Queen Studio with a full kitchen for meals. The pool reminded me of a warm bath due to high temperatures.

I stayed in a Beautiful Queen Studio for 6 nights, and the room was spacious, allowing me to relax and unwind. The kitchen was a fantastic bonus, fully stocked with everything I needed to prepare my meals. I loved that the outdoor swimming pool and garden area provided a tranquil escape right outside my door.

The hotel features only five rooms surrounding a well-kept garden and a charming pool. The kitchen comes equipped with a coffee maker, fridge, and cooking tools, perfect for making your own meals.

The bed proved uncomfortable with a 12-inch mattress that felt worn out, and the chairs outside each unit left much to be desired-no real space to lounge comfortably. The towels were stained and frayed, and minor maintenance was lacking, evident through patched but unpainted ceilings and a cracked headboard. As a base to explore from, it does the job, but don't expect luxury.

The hotel is a little gem, surrounded by a lush garden and pool area. My teens enjoyed snorkeling nearby and exploring the quaint fast food spots just a short walk down the block. The clean, comfortable rooms.

My wife says that an upgrade of kitchen utensils would be great for families with kids.

The room was cozy with air conditioning, a big refrigerator, and a nice kitchenette with a coffee machine and all the cooking tools you need. The private bathroom was clean, and there was a lovely outdoor swimming pool right outside. Super close to great restaurants and only a short walk to the beach.

We enjoyed snorkeling nearby and even tried paddle boarding. The pool was great, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, just a quick walk to restaurants and shops.

The parking situation was a bit tricky, given the gravel spots, made it inconvenient.

Gardenia is nicely located in a quiet area, just a short walk from the beach. The clean apartment was a delight, and the nice pool was perfect for unwinding. The communication with the owner was great. An unexpected bonus was the good workout from walking around!

The gardens around the hotel are quite lush and relaxing. The pool could be larger.

I stayed in the Beautiful Queen Studio for 6 nights. The room was spacious and clean, which I really appreciated. The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen was a nice bonus for making meals. The bathroom was huge too, although there was some mold near the shower. The daily cleaning was a plus! The pool, though, was pretty small, and honestly, the water felt more like a warm bath than refreshing. It was a decent stay but could use some updates.
